pfriddle Valued Member United States 151 Posts	Posted 10/17/2010 5:16 pm I might be able to pick up this quarter pretty cheap. Based on these pictures, can you tell if it's a fake? I've wanted one of these for a while but don't really want to pay what they cost. Of course, I don't want to but a fake either. I saw in another post that there are fakes floating around now. ACE Mike Valued Member United States 438 Posts	Posted 10/18/2010 04:33 am I would be worried. The pictures are inadequate, but from what I can see, the details look mushy, even for a worn coin. The owner was pointing out the flaws in slab and markings but to the untrained eye one would never know the difference. Pretty scary. Report this Post to the Staff
