those HSN goons were a year off. I just read in Coin World that Satin Finish coins in Mint Sets are not going to be used in 2011.

They also have a pretty good article on the ATB 5oz silver "third pounders" we are all salivating over.

This pleases me.

It is a good thing that brilliant uncirculated ATB sets are available this year, for continuity.

We better scoop up as many 2010 satin finish sets as possible this year as it will be the only satin finish set/year for the park quarters (0:

hmmmm good point about the SF ATB Quarters. I bought a whole separate book just to put the SF's in. I am very happy they are going back to BU, so I am not going to complain.

I never thought I'd say this about the satin finish, but good riddance.

If that's true, then the Satin Finish 2010 Shield Cents will be the
only Satin Finish Shield Cents!

2010 seems like it will be the "key" year for the A.T.B. Quarters.

Hard to find in circulation, banks can't special order them, and now
there'll be a 2010-only Satin Finish type?!

I really hope so. What a useless series of coins. Dreck!

Can't wait for the return to BU... that being said, I'll be buying a few more 2010 mint sets pretty soon here :)

Of course, we can assume that the prices will not be retreating.

It costs more to mint the satin finish coins. Returning to the old way while maintaining the prices will increase profits.
