There's only one word to describe how I felt when I walked into the Convention Center and the ANA today - WOW!!!!!!!!!!! Folks...I was totally overwhelmed! The 33's were marvelous and the other's were so great to see! I only made a few little purchases! Yes, I got the CherryPickers Guide too!!!! I met Gary Burke! He is a terrific person. We hung around together for just a little bit. Both of us were on specific "hunts". I was looking for the 1/2 oz Silver Canadian Timber Wolf and finally found one! It was at just about the last booth! Checking my change was also fun. Got a SAC and a Loonie in change. I've never seen so many Morgans! You Morgan lovers would have gone totally bananas!!!!!!!!!! They were everywhere! I picked up some dealer business cards from those that had a nice selection and nice looking MS+ coins if anybody is interested! I'll post some pics when I return to AZ! I am loving being back in my home State of Colorado and am even more anxious to return (finally) in the next few months!!!!!!!!! Have a great weekend everyone! I miss you all!

You've got me drooling about those morgans. Can you tell me some of the dealers with a nice selection of morgans? Thanks, and sounds like you had a blast.

Cool ds, am glad you had fun. I bet it was something to see those 10 1933's though. That had to be awesome. Wish I could have gone. Sounds like it was a numisblast. Also nice that you got to meet someone from the forum. That would have definitely been neat. Let us see your wolf coin when you get back to your home base. Cheers!

Deb, I don't think I'd be able to stand it. I'd keel over in frustration trying to compare my paltry Morgan collection with the best in the world and knowing that somehow somewhere I went wrong. We'll keep the lights on in the desert for you! Fred

Yep. Bryan1315 has pictures of them in his album in the gallery. Not closeups mind you but it does show all 10 of them at once. Very nice. http://www.coincommunity.org/galler...um=242&pos=8

Yes Irishraider but I thought the govt.was holding them,at least until the courts decided if they could go back to the owners.I figured the convention is a private area and the coins would not be found there

The mint actually made quite a big deal over having the coins at the convention, it was on the front page of their website and everything. Does anybody know if they will ever be on display again? I'd like to know how much security they used to get the coins to the show!
