Hi I'm from the uk and have been asked to do a little research into a coin which was found not far from where I live. I have searched the internet, books and lidrary records for something depicting the design. I have found the image on several roman/greek coins but non of them have the same inscription on the back.

IMP CAES M AVN SEV ALEXANDER AVG

DATA DI CONIO 222d.C

Which leads me to the conclusion it is either rare or fake, I'm thinking the latter.

Regards

I would say is a modern day replica, or token of some sort.

This is not an ancient coin, but some type of token of modern vintage.
