1992 Cent Error

Hi Forum, just sending this pic out to yous for your educated opinions
Worth lots or not? Thank's for any feedback.

It has as you can see a groove from one side to the other with the stamping down in the groove.
Also the leaf tip is tripled stamped in the groove, you can see one of the stamps to the left of the leaf tip.

Looks like a strike-through error. Could have been struck through a thin scrap of coin-metal loose in the press. Not worth a lot - but interesting.

Thank's for the info Scissel, also part of the word cent can be seen in the groove too.
It's possible the scrap piece had broke off another cent and inbeded on this one.

It's typical to see some of the design (e.g., the word 1 CENT) transfer through the affected area. Whatever it was struck through is long gone - occasionally little bits can be retained & embedded with this kind of error.
