Joined in hoping someone might be able to tell me is there are of any value, and of course take part in any discussions on ALL coins in the future. Cheers Myles
1809 is listed in Krause catalog as KM#4, and 1816 as KM#11. Both are 81.7% silver with .0510 oz. Actual Silver Weight (according to Krause, even though they are of different size). My book is a few years old, and it lists 1809 at $25 in Fine, and $65 in Very Fine. 1816 is listed at $25 in Fine, and $70 in Very Fine. Today I'd guess they are about one and a half times that.
