With all ue respect to you and yours...what are we looking at other than a 1955? A 1955 DD is very obvious. Personally I'm not aware of any 1955 sub-varieties, but, with that being said, I'm a grumpy oldtimer.....Cheers and good luck hunting!!

I have been waiting on you to chime in,,you grumpy 1893 S,,check the 2-0-II+V,,cherrypickers variety and see if you can see what they are revering too,,and "UE" tell me "OLDTIMER",,,,but really look at it and I will be providing better photos with my new scope,,I hope,,thanks alot!

Why were you waiting for me to "chime in"? OK? What is the 2-0-11-V? I'll be interested to see your photos...!!I have enjoyed collecting Lincolns for years, and am always looking for errors I'm unaware of. I was cherrypicking through bags of pennies 40 years ago, and I still do....Cheers

not a variety or error. it's damage maybe done at the mint but no premium. the value is on the reverse

I can't tell by your images but CONECA lists 10 DDO versions. The big one and 9 little ones.

go to conecaonline then find the Variety Master Listings, next find Lincoln Cents, DDO, and then look for 1955.

A search on Coppercoins die search for 1955 finds 7 DDO versions listed.
