Interestingly, this one is much harder to find than the type 1 example even though the mintage is 4 fold larger. Anyways, I needed an upgrade with a decent date, and this one fit the bill. Grade?

I would go a bit lower, around Fine-15.

thanks guys! I was thinking solid VF as well with the strong full date and reeding, though the shield just barely makes it. The seller had it graded at VG though. Nice to find those ultra conservative graders, since they are few and far in between on ebay.

IMO it is close to a Fine, but I gave this one a bump due to the strong date and because these are usually weakly struck.

Great SLQ either way.
