Obviously, melt on the one ounce round is $23.50. So you have $23.50 plus 6 times $8.50 for a total melt value of $74.50, so it is a decent deal no matter what the condition of the coins. It's always easy to say those are a good deal since the Silver itself is worth that but just who can you sell them to for your $75? Remember that if you approach a coin dealer, jewler, etc. they will not give you MELT Prices since they too must make a profit. Think of it like this. You have a car that everyone says is worth $10,000. Then you try to sell it for that and you find out no one will pay that for that car. So is it worth $10,000? Everyone constantly says a Silver coin is worth MELT but WHO WILL YOU SELL IT TO FOR THAT? Report this Post to the Staff

Some Walkers that are worn slick are not worth buying unless under melt IMHO. Some people collect those Norfed rounds and it's worth $25 itself. ANA #R3154474 Report this Post to the Staff

Anything above melt and I would want it to be AU+. Some of those slicks can be well below the .715 toz./$ face rule of thumb. Report this Post to the Staff
