so what s the difference between a bag and a box? Other than the fact that one is a bag of coins and the other is a box

Nail -> Head

you might find that bags contain more or less than a box, because they go by weight.

Some people like the ease of bags, open, dump, search, toss rejects into bag, and go and dump back at the bank. Boxes, means rolls, which could slow down your process.

I love going through quarters, its been a long while since I found any silver. I do get some Canadian on occasion but basically use it to collect the ATB.

I have searched many quarter rolls. I've found many 67's ... more 65's ... and some 66's. I only found 2 silver quarters (64's).

Nice! 2 silver quarters is not bad at all.

I searched $100 in quarters earlier today. No silver, but I did find a Haper's Ferry quarter that I needed for my ATB album!

I've really slowed down on the Quarter (and Dime) hunting lately. Been having so much success with the Nickels and Halves that I've kind of put them on the backburner for now.

Probably a good idea. Spend more time on what is giving you the finds. If it ever dries up, shift back to the quarters and dimes.

Exactly, jbuck. At some point I'll definitely get back to them... still need to find my 2009-P North Mariana Islands coin to complete my modern set (1965-date) out of circulation.

On the subject of the Northern Mariana Islands quarter, do you want to hear something truly hilarious? For years on end, I thought I had collected all 5 available Districts and Territories quarters. A few months ago, I was flipping through a copy of the Red Book, and came across the quarters' dedicated section. You can believe how surprised (and disappointed) I was to see that there was a SIXTH quarter that I did not have, nor had ever seen: the Northern Mariana Islands one! From that point onward, I resolved to keep an eye out for it, but I have yet to track one down in circulation.

I don't know whether to laugh, cry, or both. Maybe I'll just do this!

Those 2009 NMI coins are tough given that the two mints made only 35 and 37 million respectively. Technically, I do own the missing 2009-P NMI coin as it's in my 2009 mint set, but I'd like to finish up that circulation finds set.
