Just started modest hunting two days ago. I went through 4 rolls of cents, nothing except a decent 2009-P Presidency. Three rolls of dimes, nothing. Tonight, 3 rolls of quarters and FINALLY in the third roll a 1960-d Washington F-VF! I still have 8 rolls of nickels to go in this first effort.

Congrats, spruett001! Silver quarters are a very tough find CRH.

Searched $50 plastic wrapped no silver but picked up two 2016 ATB's I needed for the book. I really want to find that silver quarter looking for CW rolls and not plastic wrapped. |

I managed to spot something silver looking where the tellers keep there change in the quarter column. So, I asked to see it! And yep, it was NOT SILVER! Just a Canadian!

I FINALLY finished my modern quarter set... 800 CWR of Quarters produced my first 2009-P Northern Mariana Islands coin today! 11 months of sporadic searching... the 2009-P Quarters are VERY tough to find out here on the West coast.   CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

$50 dollars in quarters produced one DC territory quarter did pick up a few 2016's I needed for the book.

Thanks, CanadianNumismatist. Funny, when I first started back up my CRH, Quarters were actually my main focus.

A friend of mine who managed a credit union until a few months ago still has the head teller keeping an eye out for silver on his behalf...today she sold him these at FV!   I reminded him to take good care of her!  |
