Thanks, tencentpenny.
I honestly don't think too many people are truly aware of the mintages of some of the 2009-2012 quarters. Which I guess works to the advantage of those of us like me who do know.
Only problem is I don't want to tie up too much of my money searching quarters as the silver finds are very few and far between. That said, I think I am going to search more quarters in the second half of the year.

I search mainly pennies because right now that is what I can mainly afford. I do have a lot of coins that I could cash at the coin machine though. In the past when I would search pennies, I would save all of the zinc and other non-collectible pennies also (I don't know what I was thinking). Now, I probably have about $1,000 in loose pennies in my room. I have slowly been taking some of them to the bank's coin counting machine. If I am able to cash all of those pennies in, I could get more dimes and quarters.

New to this sub-forum but not to collecting. I own a small sandwich shop and I use many quarters for change. I've been roll searching quarters for a few years now. Today I opened a roll and found a 1952 silver quarter.

I got a box of quarters ($500) for the first time. I found a Canadian quarter and some low mintage years. No silver was found though.

I'm starting a quarter collection. I found lots of America the Beautiful (national parks) quarters in rolls along with some nice State Quarters. Is it unusual to find Guam, Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico quarters in rolls? I haven't seen the other 2009 quarters yet.
