1000$ bag - zilch. waste of time. I am cutting back on coins by approx 20-30% and quarters are likely going to see the biggest decrease. I rarely keep anything out of a bag short of silver or a proof - and those are rare.
Here is my video of my best silver quarters find. Luckily I have a relative that works at the bank and they call me if something cool comes in. This was about six months ago.
nice video. have yet to hit it big with quarters. I search for those primarily in bags. most ever found in a bag is 2. have hit it big multiple times on halves and dimes and nickels. never quarters.
So every time at work when we get in new boxes of quarters and dimes I check them. So today I found a 1951 quarter. The month of December was really good to me, averaged 2-3 quarters a week and almost double that in dimes!
Awesome score on that video! $28 face! Amazing, you are lucky to have "friends" at the bank. I'm friendly with several tellers, but they never call me. One does actually, but she never has nuthin...there's no coin machine there. I appreciate her effort and consideration, though.
I'm new to hunting for quarters. I see the 1982-P and 1983-P&D are listed as being worth more. Should I be saving all of those I come across? Is there a market for them? Or am I wasting time and space saving them?
