CJ Cents Valued Member United States 140 Posts	Posted 08/12/2015 10:53 am It's been a while since I've posted but since then I have been searching boxes of quarters. Box #1- '76 Canadian, 21 bicentennials, and a 2004 Texas S mint Box #2- 18 bicentennials, and a '64 Washington! I have noticed about a third of each box has 2015 Kisatchie ATB Quarters. Since the beginning of the ATB program started this quarter is just in over abundance around my area. I have not seen this many of other ATB Quarters. Also I would say a 4th of all the Kisatchie have very weak strikes. The P mint mark is barely seen. They look brand new just very weak details. Thoughts? Report this Post to the Staff

llewellin Pillar of the Community United States 1005 Posts	Posted 09/03/2015 6:39 pm I just got back from the Constar after cashing in my last box for an Amazon gift card. This was the second box I ever searched, and I normally look for ATB coins in mint state or those that I don't have yet. I guess I got a little careless with the eagle reverse ones because I found a 1964-D in the reject slot when I was done! Boy am I glad that the coinstar rejects silver, this is only the second silver quarter I have found in circulation (the first was about 12 years ago when I bought change off my brother). I am very happy and I think that's not too bad to find a silver quarter in only 2 boxes searched! Report this Post to the Staff

Tyler Wood New Member United States 18 Posts	Posted 09/04/2015 5:14 pm Well I was doin a garage sale at my grandmothers senior commuinity and I sold something for $0.25 and this SUPER OLD dude took like one hour to walk up to pay but lone behold he gives me a *BU* 1964-D QUARTER I WAS STUNNED and I was ready do try to sell him more when he left right away. ckrakowski Pillar of the Community 984 Posts	Posted 09/28/2015 11:58 pm I know that this is not a crh find but I did find it in my old mans change he was planning on using for laundry. As I was going through his change I saw a Wisconsin quarter and I put it aside as I do for every Wisconsin quarter hoping to find the leaf varieties and I noticed it was shiny but I have seen many quarters that are in good condition so I did not think too much about it. After I was done looking at the other I checked the the quarter imagine my surprise when I saw a small s for the mint mark. My first proof quarter found. Report this Post to the Staff

CPC24 Pillar of the Community United States 619 Posts	Posted 10/21/2015 08:30 am I went to eat the other day, and the cashier had a silver quarter in her drawer. I tried to ask for it when she handed it to me! It was a 1942, even. What are the chances? I've never gotten a silver quarter in change. I rarely get wheat cents these days, much less silver! mrkramer Valued Member United States 72 Posts	Posted 10/22/2015 11:41 am I get a roll or two of quarters here and there, I mostly look for ATB Quarters that I don't already have one of, and I have a few more State Quarters that I need for completing my set so I watch for those as well. I'm not sure if there are any varieties that are actually rare that I should pay attention for, but the rest of my quarters get spent mostly for laundry. I'm always hoping to find a silver, but no luck yet. Report this Post to the Staff
