Wow, I can't believe you actually took a picture before you ripped them apart! Hope you get all silver (if not all morgans!)

I could have been really evil and waited until tomorrow, but I couldn't do that to you guys. Here we go: They are all Eisenhower dollars. 71-D x2 72 x2 72-D x8 74 74-D x5 76 x13 (all var. 2) 76-D x9 (one var. 1) 77-D x5 78 x7 78-D x8 Three of them filled empty places in my album. Here's a picture of them all: Here's the 1976-D variety 1. Oh, does anyone have a link to a good website of Eisenhower varieties? Thanks! This was a fun evening. Now I'm off to start searching through a box of cents.

I knew a coin dealer who would pay me $1.10 for each eisenhower, not much of a premium but if you can find someone to give you something extra you can make a few bucks for gas money at least.

Cool find. I like scoring Eisenhowers even though I don't know anything about varieties. I got a bagful of these sitting there until I get motivated to organize em.

Great job! I know a dealer who sells Ikes for a dollar each. This was about a year ago and said he has a bunch but now thinking about it they might not be to bad to pick up because if not on ebay someone on here might want them and I could let them go for a small tad over face.

Dont forget to factor in whatever sales tax you state may charge before trying to flip them. Now if you could get him to make a 1 for 1 swap for some paper......

Yes spruc. He just traded me some of them for dollar bills. Since I'm a YN he said he does the same to all the over YNs interested. I will have to see where I put his card if I still have it or not. I do remeber getting angry at him though and refusing to go back so I'm still unsure.

i just pulled 130 of them out at three different banks the other day. One teller said that I made her day by buying all the halves and Ikes from her. I went through them all (1972 varII, none found) so I kept 80 dollars and 20 dollars is up in Oxford with me and I threw the other 30 at random banks in the Kenwood area (Kenwood Ohio, PNC bank).
