I am looking in my Blackbook price guide for paper money and I see that all 1976 and 1995 ATlanta notes carry a premium. Is that true? I can find 1976 notes anywhere and I just got about 5 1995. Should I waste my time with these? I love the $2 bill. It must be all the ink on them cause they are always very nice to handle.

According to the books I have they say that Kansas City has the high premiums for 1976.

From Wikipedia:
Supplies of the Series 1976 $2 bill were allowed to dwindle until August 1996 when another series finally began to be printed; this series, however, was only printed for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. 153,600,000 bills were printed as Series 1995 for the Federal Reserve District of Atlanta.

I didn't know that 1995 was only printed for F district.

Well, if the 1995 notes are uncirculated, then they are worth keeping, especially if they are star notes. If they are circulated, do what you want with them... you can always get more...

My mistake. I did not read it correctly. 1995 uncirculated star notes have the value, the rest are not worth keeping, maybe the uncirculated. 1976 uncirculated and uncirculated star notes. I got it now.
