so I can't load a picture now but if you guys want it, which knowing you all you will
while searching nickels the other day I came across a coin that was the same exact diameter as a nickel but maybe a bit thinner
it is kind of blackish grayish in color
it has a penny printed on it though
The thing is that the stamp of lincoln as well as the reverse and writing appear to be larger then an actual penny
like there isn't extra material around the coin like there should be if the penny was stamped on the wrong planchet
the coin is made of some kind of metal, but it isn't magnetic
I can't give the weight as I don't have a proper scale
the coin doesn't say "copy" or anything dumb like that like kids play coins have
lastly the date on the coin is 2000
I really don't know what to think because play money isn't usually metal
but the die seems to be fitted properly on the coin
any ideas
