Hey CC,

I may have gotten lucky on one of two or these coins.

Please review these three(3) coins and provide your feedback as to whether or not any or all of these coins are documented error coins.

Point out the error(s) on each coin and also let me know what you feel the grade and $ value of each coin would be in today's market.

The reverse sides can be provided if needed although I felt that they did not contribute in these cases.

thanks

I really do not see anything significant on the first two, post mint damage and lighting glare. The third one however could be an overdate or doubling at the 7-8 O'clock position on the 6. Or, just maybe it is a small Cud. That is about all I can tell you but I am nowhere near an expert on these kind of things.

Does anyone think that an 'S' may be under the 'D' on the 1952D coin?

Also Maineman what do you mean by MD?

By MD, he means " Machine Doubling". Which is the least desirable form of doubling. It is considered post-mint damage by most, but some would argue it's part of the minting process.

Anyway. I don't see anything on the '58.

I don't think the '52-D has an "S" under there. Your mintmark looks too tilted. That's not to say that it's not an RPM, though. These can fool you sometimes. Chuck or coop would know at a glance.

I would lean toward die chip on the '56, too. But, definitely wait for other opinions on that.

None of the three are anything besides normal EF wheat cents worth around a nickel each.

1. The 1952D shows a hit on the mintmark.
2. The 1958 shows nothing at all outside the ordinary.
3. The 1956D shows a hit on the 6 of the date.
