Youse guys are cracking me up ... so the UK decided to go with a Spanish/Belgian design motif for this one? Odd, but interesting, and almost as attractive as the Florida State Quarter ...

To be fair I think it is still better than the 2010 version. But The Royal Mint doesn't seem to want to impress the customers with the designs.

But at least they try different designs unlike the other bullion coins.

Kookaburras, Russian Bolshoi Ballet, etc. keep changing too. It's just North American bullions that cling to their "timeless" design.

I'm not a big fan of this one, and with silver prices where they are and the large premiums you have to pay for Britannias vs. spot, I think I will pass and perhaps focus on some of the older ones I don't have yet...

North America's countries have changed their bullion. Canada had those Vancouver ones and the new wolf, Mexico redesigned the Libertad in the early 2000s, and the US has the Gold Buffalo for variety over the Double Eagle. I don't know what you guys are on... about...

Oh yeah, the guy in the wheelchair, he can be found on the US dime.

i think every other year a new design comes out for this coin, and inbetween they have the normal design.
