http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episod...t_Episode_1/Its, well, interesting but it doesn't show
The Royal Mint in a very good light, so far we've had:
A sales team almost missing a deadline for a tender they have had years to sort out. The handing over of an important delivery to a Congo official in a car park having missed the original meeting.
A Fez wearing David Brent style head of African sales who always seems to say the wrong thing and his wife who seems more interested taking about her personal life than her job.
Foundry staff who seem to have come straight out of 1970s episode of On The Buses.
Some truly awful Coronation Street commemorative coins, a pretty awful William and Kate coin and some hideous Congo coins.
The best bit bar far though is when they claim the Congo coins are so bad because the Congo officials did not provide good enough photos of the subjects, have they never heard of Google picture search?
Certainly worth a look, even if it is from behind a cringe.
