One can show magic coin tricks with this thing:

"Look - the hole in the middle is round. Now, abracadabra, turn it around, and OPPAH! - the hole is just a slot!"

Indeed, hence the appeal to Santa I hope they are not all that expensive, svslav, or you're definitely going to have your work cut out for you!

And thanks for the link SeriousCERES, although that's still a bit pricey (went for 391).

Yep, pricey indeed! I think I'd sooner put that money toward a trip to Latvia... In the summertime of course.

Course, then I'd want to collect Latvian coins-- darn! Is there no escape? ;)

That's a cool coin!
It's not the "Amber Route" coin, but something new?
I couldn't find any info on it...

I didn't realize the interest these would have. I have enough to offer to CCF members who want them. I paid about $4.30 each for them when I bought a roll about a year and a half ago, so $5.00 each shipped to CCF members in the states, $6.00 shipped to Canada, Australia or U.K., will quote on shipping elsewhere.
