Sounds like it is from Littleton. They are on the up and up. I have never ordered from them, but I did see a post in the past and it seems like they are ok.

Littletom.

Concensus of opinion seems to be that they are fair and honest, but coins may be a little overpriced.

See if you can locate an ad from Chestnut Coins! This dealer is absolute fair priced and you can tell him what you are currently collecting and how much you wish to spend per month and he will make every effort to meet your needs. My wife has bought from him for years and I myself did the same a few years back. Great guy to deal with and you buy what you like and can send the rest back. Very very pleased with his service!

Yes it does sound like Littleton. Their quality is very nice but, the prices are a bit on the high side. As you go along with them you will begin to receive "freebies" and those are extremely nice. You can send the coins back and keep all of their free items. I've received Archival albums and a beautiful display case. I receive coins from them monthly and can pick and choose what I want or need. They've been in business over 60 years so they are doing something right. I also enjoy the Littleton catalogs. If you don't need or want a coin that they send you can return it to them, no questions asked. The only drawback is that you have to pay the return postage. Just this week I received an absolutely perfect and beautiful 2006W ASE from them. It was $45 - yes pricey but, I couldn't resist it once it was in my hot little hands.

I suggest you keep away from any organization or company that decides to send you something without your consent. Do not buy any coins without seeing them first. Why should you pay postage for their mistakes. And further I've heard that occationally on the return they apparently don't make it back so your stuck with the bill. Littleton is excessively overpriced on everything. You would be much better to check out if there are any coin dealers in your area. Further check out it there are any coin shows in your area. You wouldn't buy a car, boat, house, bike, etc. site unseen, so why consider doing so with coins?

Yes, Carl I do agree. However, I consented when I signed up. They also have the option of telling them what coins I'm interested in which saves them and I the time and expense of sending coins that I don't want. I only purchase them after I view and approve of them. I've not had a problem returning them but, knowing the Post Office, that's always a possibility. They do have some very nice items in their catalogs as well and occasionally some nice deals. They are just one of many options available that I personally utilize...although they are not my first choice. It can be an option however, for those that do not have a dealer or organization close by and postage, etc. are minimal compared to driving expense and so forth.

Welcome to our family friendly forum Carl! Please continue to contribute and everyone is welcome here.
