I have about 100 specialist numismatic books, of which about 30 of these relate to ancient numismatics. and about 100 booklets and research papers that cover the broad spectrum of numismatics.

Considered essential are four books that cover fake coins, and how they are made, with the view that how their method of manufacture betrays them.

Have the Krause World Coins library that covers 1600-2000.+ Karause World Gold coins and World Crowns.

Frank F. Gilboy's "The Milled Columnarios of Central and South America. Spanish American Pillar Coinage, 1732-1772."

Brad Yonaka's "A Variety Guide to the Pillar Coinage of the Guatemala, Bogota, Lima, Potosi, and Santiago Mints 1751-1772"

Thomas Michael's "Standard Catalog of World Coins, 1701-1800"

You guys have some very impressive libraries.

EDIT: Forgot to add Adolfo Herrera's "El duro"

Mine is pretty miniscule. I try to use online resources as much as possible:

World - General
Coins of the World 1750-1850 (Craig, 3d edition 1976)
Standard Catalog of World Coins (Krause and Mishler)

Poland:
Handbuch der Polnischen Numismatik (M. Gumowski, 1960, reprint)

Duchy of Lorraine:
Recherches sur le Monnaies des Ducs Hereditaires de Lorraine (F. de Saulcy, 1841, reprint)

Low Countries:
Essai de Classement Chronologique des Monnaies Brabanconnes (J. Ghyssens undated)

Les Petits Deniers de Flandre des XIIe et XIIIe Siecles (J. Ghyssens, 1971)

Scotland and Ireland
The Coins of Scotland Ireland and the Islands (Spink, 3d ed. 2003)

If anyone ever needs info from any of those, please let me know!
