United Kingdom 1997 First Bimetallic Gold Proof - 2 Pound Gold Proof Coin of which these were limited to 2500 mintage and 2482 were actually released from The Royal Mint.
There is a similar coin. The inner disc is made of cupro-nickel, while the outer ring is made of nickel-brass.

Do not be confused.
This coin is all 22 carat gold
Inner Ring 22 Carat Yellow Gold
Outer Ring 22 Carat Red Gold

This has not been opened. It is still in the thick plastic heat sealed wrapper with labeling.
I see the item number may be UK97GP 2
