I am looking for an accurate price guide for coins with the hard to find top attributes like Full Bell Lines, Full Steps, Etc. The Red Book doesn't have it, publications like Coin World's Coin Values does but I have a really hard time buying into their numbers. If they were right, I have a 1970S nickel worth $750 for MS-65 FS. Keep in mind that I am looking for retail numbers. Thanks for any input as I like to purchase better coins and have some to sell as well but need to understand realistic values.

Numismedia has pricing for Franklin FBL, SLQ FH, and Mercury FB but no Jefferson FS. The FS descriptor is harder than most people think, not only do the steps have to be fully separated but there also cannot be any step breaking contact marks either- that can be really tough. I suppose the real question is whether your 1970-S could actually be certified as a full stepper.

Wow! Not even a contact mark on the steps. That does make it tougher. Yea I believe my 1970s would qualify but I still think $750 is outrageous.

What about the full torch for Roosevelt dimes? Again, I have seen some outrageous numbers.
