Depends, how many rolls and are they worth enough to need insurance.

Frankly a roll of nickels weighs about 7 oz. By the time you package it up and try to ship it first class you would do about as well to use a small Priority Mail box. If you are shipping more than a couple rolls you would probably do best to look at the flat rate Priority Mail boxes. The rates are very low and you can ship up to 70 pounds if you can get them in the box. (No tape allowed)

I wouldn't insure the packages
It would probably be only I'm guessing at most 5 rolls
maybe some would even be one roll
I wouldn't insure 2-10 bucks worth of coins though

1 roll=bubble mailer
2 or more=Priority.
Bubble mailer is 3.36 here, while priority is 4.95. Just this morning I mailed a roll of Jeffs plus 5 world. Came to 15.1 oz.
I had a shipload of crumpled paper in there, though. Just dug out my receipt, and it was 5.15. Dont know what the extra .20 is for. I didn't think priority got machined.

Over 13ozs must ship at Priority Mail rates if using USPS so a small flat rate box is best unless you're shipping just 1 roll.

I use PayPal shipping and save a bit (about 10% I think) on postage and get Delivery Confirmation for 19 cents.

Been thinking about this thread for a few days and here it is. Go Slash!

As shipping is "the" killer of what would otherwise be a great deal, I'd like to see this blown out to at least a sticky or even a full S&H Forum.

Weights and dimensions. Different mailers, their limits and costs. How to ship international? Where not to ship! Expected or realized delivery times. How many 2x2's can I cram in an envelope and ship for $0.44 :) The list goes on.

Cents:
5.3oz per roll
1-2 rolls use bubble mailer
X-X use small priority mail box
X-X use small flat rate mail box
1,000,000 rent uhaul

Is there any fine print on using the paypal label, as I am paying 80 cents for delivery confirms. Mine go under first class package rates. Thanks
