I need some help with this coin I have. 6 or 7 years ago I found in a roll of new Delaware Quarters never thought anything about it. Then I Read about this Error called an improperly Annealed coin sometimes called Black Beauties. I found one on ebay and my coin looks just like that one But how can you tell. Any help would be nice and what would this coin be worth ? Thank you all very much Maxwell 41. :-) sorry can't seem to put up any photos.

Maxwell first off, welcome to CCF ! I can tell you that it takes an expert to determine if it is really an improperly annealed coin. I'm not sure if anyone on here can tell, but you would definitely need to post pictures. I had my "black beauty" nickel certified by ANACS. If you want to be sure and for the purpose of selling, that would be the best route.First post some pictures so you can get a pretty good opinion from the guys here on CCF.There is a photo forum on this site than can help you with posting pics.
