So, I was sort of bored and embarked on an AT project. Not going to get into the methodology.

Half and Penny were AU

Dime and Nickel are MS from original rolls.

I like the way the Half turned out and some of the dimes. The colors that the camera did not capture on these two are a slight bit of gold and light green tone.

Nice, I like the way the dimes turned out.

I doubt you have to be concerned about that given that modern issues don't tone like that naturally.

Pretty nice looking
The reverse of the half is really sweet.

The AT is obvious, but the half still looks really cool!

I should add....I think ALL collectors should experiment with AT to understand how it works and what the results look like. ATing is a very educational exercise!

Agreed, with the understanding that some methods are....incompatible with successful respiration.

The color progressions and brightness of the blue tints are obvious signs, but a worthy experiment all the same.

The camera is not picking up the other colors (gold, light green and even some red!).

I have to try and get some pics in different lighting.

The purple and blue are darker in the nickel (pic below)

I wish I had more BU half's (untouched - Pre 80's) to test another theory.

Dave, ‘hush hush' by deep purple comes to mind.
