So, I was sort of bored and embarked on an AT project. Not going to get into the methodology. Half and Penny were AU Dime and Nickel are MS from original rolls. I like the way the Half turned out and some of the dimes. The colors that the camera did not capture on these two are a slight bit of gold and light green tone.       |

Nice, I like the way the dimes turned out. Quote:
Not going to get into the methodology. I doubt you have to be concerned about that given that modern issues don't tone like that naturally. |

Pretty nice looking
The reverse of the half is really sweet.
Did you use heat or chemicals

I should add....I think ALL collectors should experiment with AT to understand how it works and what the results look like. ATing is a very educational exercise!

Agreed, with the understanding that some methods are....incompatible with successful respiration. The color progressions and brightness of the blue tints are obvious signs, but a worthy experiment all the same. |

The camera is not picking up the other colors (gold, light green and even some red!). I have to try and get some pics in different lighting. The purple and blue are darker in the nickel (pic below)  Quote:
