Here is another one of my 1882 Morgans hoping one of these might make 65

I think I agree with echizento. I'll also have to say that I've seen worse coins graded at 65 so I believe you have a shot. On the obverse, the marks on her cheek will hold it back. It looks like a good strike and I wish your photo could have showed a little more of it's luster, or "Mint Bloom" if you please. To me, the reverse looks to be better quality, especially for bag marks. But, looking at the eagles breast and for whatever reason, it may have not been struck as well as the obverse.

Not a particularly rare piece, but it's a nice example and does not appear to be cleaned.

While I agree with Echizento (and he's usually right!) this coin is MS-64.

I also think this coin with it's really nice detail "could" make MS-65.

Let us know if you submit it!

Nice 64 if there's more luster in hand.

Some angle pictures showing the cartwheel. It is a pretty coin in hand.

The second set of pics do look like a 65. Be careful with that thumb on the rim though.

But he does keep his fingernails nicely trimmed.

Who ever thought coin photography would have such pitfalls?

LAF I don't think my fingernail grades MS-65. Probably a strong F-15
