Here is a sample of my coins. These scans are taken through the capsules so there are extra reflections. I will make my archive scans out of the capsules sometime today. The relief is decidedly lower than that on a 2001 coin and the frost is grainier but the grain size is noticeably smaller than what was used on the annual proof sets. I am pleased with the coins.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I am pleased to hear that you all are pleased with them. I rec'd a message from the mint yesterday that my order of 10 shipped so I am anxiously watching the mailbox....ha!

The mint certainly has the frosting technique down

Got mine today. I went ahead and ordered 10 of them and was happy to get free UPS Next Day Air shipping. Was beginning to think I'd get somebody else's rejects but that doesn't appear to be the case. I'd call 8 of 10 perfect at 5X and am happy with them all.

Got my 15 and looked at them with very very hard and found each one was not perfect in my eyes. Common die flaw was between the 20 and 10 in 2010 and right above the "I" in Liberty. Looks like someone took a fiberglass brush and put in 5 / 6 brush marks. Packed them up and sent them back, waiting for my next 15 to come.
Check yours, see if you see what I'm talking about...

I took a much more thorough look at mine last night and came up with these grades for the 10 pieces. 2 are PF68DCAM (hazing and spotted) 6 are PF69DCAM (a couple a tiny spots on each) 2 are PF70DCAM (no flaws noted at 5X) I filled in the online survey for the Mint and noted 2 weeks for delivery, when I ordered less than 3 hours after they went on sale, was a bit long but otherwise was happy.

After reading this thread, I just placed my order! It looks like more of you are satisfied with the quality than not. I don't expect them to be PRF70, but if I feel like there are serious errors or quality issues I will be sending it back...

Got my 15 "replacements" last week. Went through them real close and ended up sending 8 in to the PCGS for grading. Was going to send the other 7 however a friend purchased 2. Then found out they are now sold out, keeping the rest.

I received mine last week, and it looks great. I would agree with the comments from earlier - the frosting looks really good. I'll have to examine it closer still under a loupe, but I don't see any reasons to send it back. Hopefully we will have a 2011 also. If so, I'll be ordering one again.
