Not in the regular proof set. The bicentennial silver proof set that had just the half quarter and dollar did though.

The three coins (Quarter, Half-Dollar, Dollar) in the 1976 Bicentennial Silver Proof Set are 40% Silver.

If you have singles (i. e. coins removed from the proof set container), look at the edges. If they are the silver version, they will stand out clearly when compared with the copper nickel clad versions. You can also put a white kleenex over them. The silver coins will look very white through the kleenex.

I have one of the proof sets I'm about to sell through Craigslist tomorrow. They are buying my uncirculated silver sets too. Argh, I wish the silver price would plummet so I would stop selling my stuff!
