Where can I find a 1989 quarter that is in good condition? I want to goldplate it and make a coin pendant out of it

Depends how good condition you want it...check out ebay and look for a MS65 or better grade quarters.

If you want an inexpensive 1989 Proof quarter, look here:

Or you can look through rolls of quarters from the bank. They are quite common.

If you have a neighborhood coin shop, check them out. They might have Proof singles, or even just a nice MS coin for cheap.

Welcome Horton! Hope you enjoy the forum. Do you have any areas in collecting that you prefer over others? Check out the thread on nicknames if you care to post there or just to read. There is some interesting stories about nicknames posted there. Mike

Since it is gonna be gold plated I recommend just any old 1989 quarter from circulation. There are some nice examples out there still.
