For as long as they took to sell out of them, I don't think we're going to see any significant increases in value, but I could be wrong. I've seen some things skyrocket in value that made no sense to me at all.

You have to remember that many people bought them because of the new Jefferson nickels. Anytime there is a new release or new coin design, a wave of buyers will buy them.

As if they will go up? The day I figure that out will be the day I will sitting back on a tropical island sipping drinks with umbrellas in them.

I will of course never be able to figure this stuff out, what rises, what falls....the 2004 Clads made me think perhaps these will go up, especially if the mintages are lower than the clads, which I would expect to be the case. I wonder if maybe after the 2005 Silver Sets come out, maybe people will look to build a set.

I really think that the 2004 and 2005 will be good in the long run holding their value. Once the return is made back Jefferson / Monticello I expect that the nickel series as a whole will fall back into the humdrum it has suffered from for years. A stale design with no hope of inspiring anyone. The sad part is that all our future generations will also have to suffer with this sad coin for how long? Oh yeah, FOREVER!
