Question:"How could a nickel be missing a clad layer?" Is this a trick question?

Hey, the seller delivered on what was advertised. Too bad the buyer could have found plenty of nickels without a clad layer in his spare change.

yeah but that last coin, though friggin ugly, is an error. Look at it again and you will see that is off struck, there is almost no rim on the top of the coin...
not that I condon the stuff he is putting out, but....nuff said

If, and that is if, nickel be struck on a half dollar, quarter, or dime planchet right? LOL. More than likely, this a nickel with pretty toning, improper alloy, or, a burnished planchet. Right?.. P.S. I bought it cuz it is real pretty and as such, a nice gift for a child. No other reason. Imagine. P.S. Normal mint nickels are not clad. Thanx... Gusp

I looked at all his coin auctions and sent him and inquiry on the error and I knowticed that all the quarters were of a blackish color. I mean common. I resigned up for ebay just to ask this guy these questions

Anyone buying from someone like this should just throw their money into a lake. I can't recall seeing such junk - what a nerve. The best thing I saw was a worthless strike double. This certainly proves a sucker is born every minute.

I asked the seller a question actually I asked him questions on almost all of the sellers coin auctions. and one of the emails I received back stated , "If you don't know I dont have to tell you". I asked what error is it on a specific coin, whatt am I dealing with a child Maybe I was a real perspective buyer, I mean no I wasn't but I didn't word my questions in any but an inquisitive nature. I can keep going on and on with the responses||
