i received my silver proof eagles and they are all junk.all three of them.one has a scratch on the shield and a smear or something on top of the shield. the 2nd one has a dark spot on her dress.the third one has lint all inside its protective cover and the strike isn't that strong.I'm really disappointed in them had I seen them in a coin shop I wouldnt have bought them.anyone else get junk eagles?

For as much as we are paying for the SAEs this year I recommend sending them back for either exchange or a refund, whichever is your preference. You should not accept almost $150 worth of product that is supposed to be much better than what they delivered to you. Four of my five SAEs are perfect as far as I can tell and the fifth is only off by a couple of pinpoint marks. Call the mint or just use the form included as part of the packing slip. The mint only gives you seven days now, so make your decision and carry it out. Unacceptable quality is one of the reasons they have a check box for.

Mine arrived last week and are in great shape - no blemishes or scratches or anything.

I had to send one back (out of 5). I may not be able to tell the difference between PR68-PR69-PR70, but I know dark rusty spots and hazing around the rim when I see it.

I received mine today. They look great.
I was concerned since I've had problem coins in proof sets the past couple of years.
BTW - Did everyone receive an online survey in their most current order about Mint Products and packaging?

With sales over 700,000 already as of Sunday, and no sigh of an end to sales on the website, it looks like the 2010 proof SAE might sell well over 1 million coins. It could well be the highest sales number for many years. It really looks like there was no set limit on production or if there was, it has been tossed.

I was one of the few who got their orders canceled on the release day. The mint never did anything about it, nor did I. So I will not be receiving one, which I don't really mind. I took that money and bought 2 OZ's instead.
