I'm still new to coin collecting and I bought myself "Canadian Coins Volume 1" This one --> http://www.chapters.indigo.ca/books...ikwsec=Books I was just wondering how it compares to "The 2011 Charlton Coin Guide: A Charlton Standard Catalogue" --> http://www.chapters.indigo.ca/books...page:richrel Both are made by Charlton. What's the difference? Most importantly, is the one I got best suited for my needs as a new collector who has a lot to learn? Thanks for all your help. Report this Post to the Staff

I may eventually purchase volume 2 but if I buy collectors sets from the mint it's not often so I feel like that book won't come in handy as much as Volume 1. I have considered getting a subscription to "Canadian Coin News" however. Would you recommend that as well? Report this Post to the Staff
