Go through it every couple of weeks. Took it up to look through with my Niece the other week and she really enjoyed it. She is fascinated with the older stuff.

I never seem to get enough time to go through my collection as often as I would like but I do manage to pull out some coins every few months to look at them. I'm waiting until I have more time to go through them in more detail, photographing, cataloging, and grading them as I go.

I don't have a very large colection either and I am new numismatist so I enjoy looking at mine about once a week. What I really enjoy is putting my "strategy" down on paper and then reading/looking on ebay about pieces that I hope to one day add.

That will never get old! I remember doing the same with magazines in my early days, but now it is much easier to "window shop" in cyberspace.

I always have a plan to sit down someday and somewhat finalize my collection and sell off the rest, but I have this problem of buying instead. One of these days I'll realize I have enough coins to entertain myself and just look at them and take pictures and put the info on a spreadsheet and quit buying.

yeah right!

This all is what is known as living in a dream world. I too thought that way about 40 or 50 or more years ago. I'm still waiting for that day when somewhere in my head I hear a voice saying STOP.

Probably about once every other month I'll look through my better stuff with a 5x magnifier. I need to get a 10x still...

I usually have a couple of weeks off at Christmas. This is my "one on one" time with my collection. I will usually bring stuff home from the safe deposit box, search rolls, update my database (always finding ways to improve it), take some pictures, revisit my grades on my albums (I like to think I'm getting getter at grading) and stay inside where it's warm. Oh, and stay logged on to CCF for 2 straight weeks.
