Here are the coins I sent out to NGC for grading. The SBA was a win on a hunch that it might be Type 2 cause of the seller only selling tools. The 10th oz I had to send back 2 times to get one I felt was worthy of grading. So it cost me and extra $22.

I believe it was 10 US Proof Sets for $65. I will double check. It was hard to separate the 1-2 types for me at first. Couldn't quite get a Handel on just what to look for. Then when I looked at the 50C pc in Cherry Pickers Guide that it clicked and I knew I had the Type two. Even then I was still nervous I made a mistake and NGC was going to shoot it down. LOL. Now I have to try and find the rest (1,5,25&50) in the type two. The mint case had some scratches in it that I thought were on the SBA. So I was very surprised to see the PF-69. Cant wait to hold them in my hand for a little while. Then they will join the rest of my collection at the bank. I have to still post the 1937 Texas Half I bought at MS -63 in an old PCGS holder that I cracked out and re submitted that one came back MS-64. I was surprised how hard they are to get out of those holders. Took some work.LOL

Woops I was a little off. I got 6 proof sets 6 proof US mint sets 1976,78,79,80,81,82. $36.00. I cant tell you the hrs I spend though looking at coins on ebay. If you were to break it down hrly it would work out to total value being around $50. I'm hoping the 1994P SAE I just bought for $103 will grade out PF-70. I had to return the first one so far, it had a cut on the reverse under eagles tail feathers. The seller was excellent and swapped it out for another one he says is flawless. Cant wait to see it. Another good one is I just got my 2010 PF SAE from the mint that has an amazing strike the best I've personally seen. Only to have a 1/4 of a finger print on the coin. Its all the way on the edge only 3 8ths big. But when you tilt the coins you can clearly see. I cant return it cause of the amazing strike. I thought these guys were suppose to use gloves while handling. Once I find out what wrong with my scanner I will post it.

And you never know I read a guy who sent a coin in 20 times cause it was a MS-69+ Finally he got the MS-70. So if I see the coin is that close its worth the investment

Congrats! I was ecstatic for finding a 79S T-2. I keep hoping the same thing; one of these days I'll find that 81S Type 2. The 81S T-2 mint sets are selling for $200-$300 right now.

Quote: I read a guy who sent a coin in 20 times cause it was a MS-69+ Finally he got the MS-70 unless you are planning on selling it I wouldn't bother because I would rather have a real nice 69 over a crappy 70. Now if you are planning on selling then it may be worth the gamble

I really dont have any plans to resell, So a 69 is the highest it will see with me being the owner. I'm still waiting for the coins to get back. I just bought another 81 set with the hopes of finding the Half Quarter Nickel & cent Type 2. I'll post results. Thank You all for your posts.

These are some beautiful coins. Always amazes me what a person can find if they truly pay attention for the rarities.
