500 Dollar, 1864 - Confederate States (Real Note?)

But I don't have any knowledge of these things whatsoever, so hoping you guys could clear things up a bit. It's priced at around $15, is it worth it? And more important, is it real? I have a $10 and $20 that I had verified by a currency guy, as I am not, as genuine, he told me the upper denominations are pretty scarce. The same seller also sells these notes in a lot, he asks around $50 for all 3. Seems a bit strange concidering $15 for the 500 dollar? Report this Post to the Staff

It is most definitely not genuine.....the portrait is glaringly crude, and the entire note lacks the detail of a genuine note.....This note, if genuine, would sell for hundreds of dollars, and the seller knows it (you do too now).
