I'm Assuming That The 2010 Nickel Is Not A Low Mintage ?

I just started doing some more Fed Resv. Nickel rolls again, and I seem to be finding a lot of these 2010 Nickels (mostly D mint).....I'm lazy and I haven't checked the mintage numbers....but I assume that my findings are very telling.
So it's not, or can't be a repeat of last years low mintages correct ?

Anybody else with the same findings ?
Anybody have those mintage numbers and previous years comparisons ?

The way I followed this on the forum was that there was a problem with the distribution, not the mintage. I could very well be wrong, though. I've even found one in Ontario (P) so I know it's not impossible to find one.

I was talking about the 2010, not the 2009 (and I did find a couple of those too though)
If you were referring to last years scarcity of the Jefferson nickel.
I have not heard ANYTHING about this year of 2010 concerning them....which were you talking about Libertad ?

I have found alot of 2010. The last box I got was primarilly 10's with some other years mixed in. Then I picked up 5 rolls yesterday mostly 10's again but did find a 1942 in there.

I'm guessing then, that the 2010's are going to be very "common" just as the '08's and before.
Shame though, I admit that I had a sliver of hope that I was just getting "lucky" ! ....

What makes you think I was thinking of 2009 when you clearly stated 2010, EF?

I was just trying to be clear on what you meant, for sure. Last year was quite the anomoly for the Jefferson nickel.
So you're saying the same was true for this year then ? .....cool....I hadn't heard that.

Now I'm curious how many others are or aren't finding them.

So you're saying the 487 million Jeffersons minted YTD 2010 is less rare than the 86 million nickels minted in 2009? ;)

That explains a lot.

I quickly amassed a full coin tube of the 2010 D's.....I'm stopping there. And apparantly there isn't really a need to have this many of them, but........what the hey !

Wow with mintage figures like that practically everyone in the world can own an Uncirculated roll. Hard to see how any of those 2010 issues, with the possible exception of the JFk Half, ever become valuable.

A number of 2010-D Nickels have been showing up in my change in the last few days.
I got four of them in change today.
