First time to think about buying a morgan from Carson City.Of course a common date. What is your opinion ? How much must be my bid for this coin?

Can't really see the coin to determine if its a mark away from 64.
Coin Values has it at $200, Numismedia has its value at $222, and PCGS values it at $233. I would discount those figues by 20% to make an initial bid. If you have only one chance at the coin, use your best judgement.

Inclusive of fees, you should pay about $210 for this coin.
On a 15% buyer fee auction, that means limiting your bid to a maximum of about $185. If you can't get it at that price I'd recommend waiting until one comes up on teletrade or heritage. These CC's come up for auction routinely.

As a humble suggestion, you might be able to pick up a comparable specimen in a GSA box at a show. I recently flipped one to a dealer for $170; this, as they're retailing in the $180-90 range. Of course, the PCGS holder is worth something, I guess, market-wise. Yet, I tend to buy the coin, not the holder. Something to consider is that a bit nicer, PCGS-64 might later get a 65. Happy hunting!

For me it's a bit difficult to attend a coin show as I live in Greece.

Do what you want, but I'd pass on it and wait for the next one. At that price it's exactly at the PCGS pop report price. I just picked up a PCGS graded Morgan for $50 below PCGS suggested value. The deals are out there, but you're right, it's hard to buy Morgans from Greece.

Way to go! Merry Christmas! We must give ourselves coins at Christmas; usually no one else will.
