i have a 1856 SS Republic half dollar New Orleans Mint.
This Coin was Double Stamped on the Front and The word "America" was double stamped on the reverse. Just wondering if anyone could tell me something about it. or about how much the selling price could be.
thanks Brendan

Clear pictures are absolutely required for this one. Also, coins are struck, not stamped, but what makes you think anything is doubled on the coin? Your description does not match any of the four published varieties for 1856-O.

Is this coin certified by NCS/NGC with "Shipwreck Effect" and pedigreed to the SS Republic?

I agree, this question can not be answered until we see the coin in question

Although the gold coins from the wreck were largely intact, the silver ones often have several problems so we would need to see photos of the actual coin to determine wheter it is actual doubling or simply corrosion or sea water etching
