I doubt it, because he would just be taking one offer, you get 1-5 people that want the coin they just keep going up against each other to own it and the one with the most money to spend will win. I almost guarantee that the high bid will be way over what was offered just for the reason I just mentioned. Then you have others that may not even have a registry set but want to own the "only MS-70 business strike Lincoln" and they will be bidding as well, so the potential is there to make HUGE bucks, especially with all the hype being generated about the coin already, just wait till it goes on sale

Also, an individual trying to sell a particular coin wouldn't usually have the resources (advertising, mailing lists, dealer contacts, other announcements) that a commercial firm like Teletrade would have.

This guy's gonna clean house. I'm gonna take a leap of faith here and guess it's gonna go over $200K. Since it's a unique coin (for the moment), the bidders are not gonna stop with a logical well-reasoned bid. Like Bryan said, whoever has the most bucks will win and he's not gonna stop bidding until everyone else has cashed in their chips (figuratively speaking, but maybe not).

Im guessing it will go for $55,000. It may be unique, but its only a penny.

It will go far! When does the auction start?
