A new ATM at an upscale mall in Florida dispenses shiny 24-carat gold bars and coins. Thomas Geissler, inventor of the Gold To Go machines, says the majority of buyers will be walk-ups enamored by the novelty. But he says they're also convenient for more serious investors looking to bypass the hassle of buying gold at pawn shops and over the Internet.

WoW, is this for real...!? I would love to have one of those in our local town! I take gold & silver any day over nickel & paper

In dubia they have a machine set up as well.

From my understanding alot of arabic countries try to get ride of US dollars as soon as they get them
turn them into gold ,silver diamonds or atleats euro dollars

In parts of the world it is a serious issue that the usa dollar will be worthless and the money needs to be converted as soon as possible. Plus alot of arabic bussiness tie usa money to irael.

Sure it's for real. It's nothing but an over glorified vending machine. And are you sure you would want it? What kind of premiums would they charge? Pretty much anything from a vending machine is going to cost you more than if you bought it from a retail vendor. There were few clues from that video other than the one oz AGE at $1470 but we don't know what bullion was at the time of that video.

This is ridiculous. Buyers of gold at this vending machine are surely getting ripped off. I'm sure reports of these things getting stolen will a) turn up in the news or b) appear in tv crime shows and movies imminently or c) both!

Reports of the death of the US dollar are grossly exaggerated.
