I have two of these:


Tiny-Victorian-Medallion

Tiny-Victorian-Medallion
White metal, 8mm, 0.4g and both are pierced in the same place.
All I'm sure of is that it is the reopening of the London Royal Exchange.
I'm assuming watch chain charms or similar, but has anyone encountered anything like this before?

There is a short Google reference to the 'Royal Exchange London' Less than a page; won't take much time to read.

Thanks sel, I did read up a little on the Royal Exchange; that's how I was sure it was the London and not the Manchester Exchange.
What really intrigues me is the size of these things. I can see me starting to actively look for such small pieces, easy to store and little works of art in their own right.
I'm just wondering if there are many of this type around.
