It appears to be MS but difficult to determine level based on the fuzzy photos. According to my Krause disc, this is from South Peru and is .900 fine weighing .7234 oz. I can't tell which mint so the range is $55 to $80 in Unc. Prices for better grades are not listed.
This is one of my favorite series of coins for it's design. From what I can make out from the image I see some slight wear on both sides of the coin, so I would grade it at AU-55.
really nice coin! I see some slight wear on her right leg & thigh. Grade AU-55.
Peru Sol's are a favorite design of mine. I'm beginning to think they are very hard to find in mint state, for two reasons:
1) they actually circulated (unlike, say US Morgans) 2) the design has very delicate high points; it's hard to keep them in MS state. Circulated and AU coins are very common, MS not so much.
