Can anyone out there tell me the NGC Population number for the 2010p $1 Kangaroo-High Relief PF70 Ultra Cameo? There were 20,000 minted and I'm considering buying a PF70 NGC. Am wondering though, how many have been graded PF70. Thank you for your help.

Mate, don't be offended, it's probably that no one knows the answer. It's a proof coin so I would say they are all graded PF70.

I suspect the number of views is so high because the title of the thread doesn't actually mention that you want to know about a slab company's statistics. I suspect many of our Australian members (including me) clicked on this thread, only to find it was actually enquiring about an American TPG. Most Australian collectors know little and care even less about slabbed coins. I can't recall ever seeing an NGC coin for sale here in a dealer's window. I've seen a few PCGS, a few basement slabs, and that's it.

You might want to try posting your query in the TPG forum.

There's almost no market for slabbed bullion coins like these in Australia and to be honest most people I know boggle at the price that a PF/MS70 graded modern NCLT coin can fetch. Perhaps you'd have better luck posting on the TPG forum or over at the NGC forums?

Spg1, Sap and Markn: Thank you so much for responding to my problem here. I noticed you are all from Australia. Unfortunately, American collectors are really missing out by not being aware of the artistic beauty and value Australian Coins are famous for.
It's really nice to know that there are actually people out there who care and are willing to help out a fellow collector, no matter what country they are from. Thanks guys, it means alot to me. I have been tracking, for several weeks, the prices the High Relief Kangaroo has been bringing on ebay. Here are the results.

Raw in an airtite: 1 $86.85 Average: $86.85
Raw, Boxed, with COA: 11 $1,159.90 Average: $105.45
Proof 69 NGC: 5 $522.72 Average: $104.54
Proof 70 NGC: 12 $2,447.78 Average: $203.98

Have a full set of the "Kookaburras"' and a full set of the Kangaroo series beginning in 1993 to present (Including both "Kangaroo At Sunset" coins)

Wanted to add the Boxing Kangaroo coin to my collection of other Kangaroos. Thanks Again!!
