BH1964 Bedrock of the Community United States 10982 Posts	Posted 12/21/2010 8:09 pm Not worth sending to NCS but you could soak it in acetone, rinse and pat dry then apply Blue Ribbon coin conditioner and preservative. Might make it look a bit better and should neutralize anything active on the surface and protect what is left to protect. ANA #R3154474 Report this Post to the Staff

I'd put in a window sill for a year and see if it improves. Poor Abe needs some air. LOL It's a shame, it is a nice coin. Sometimes a long retoning can work wonders. Lincoln Cent Lover!
