Here is another interesting coin!

My holder labels this as a Proof... I'm not sure. However, it doesn't list this as a Type B which I think it is. Did they even proof Type B? Also, my holder is filthy. The wear that appears on the chest of the eagle is intensified by the scuffed plastic.

Obverse: I notice that the bust doesn't really look like a proof, but the date and especially IGWT is exploding out of the coin in comparison to everything else.

Reverse: Looks more prooflike than the obverse, with a lot of mirroring. There appears to be grease in the die on the "IB", as the top of the I is almost entirely gone.

What do you guys think?

To shiney to be a type B IMO hard to tell in pics, but it appears to have a mirror like back ground

I think its a reg proof

The type B is a bussiness strike front and proof reverse. The coin's over all front and back will appearance will be dull just like a reg strike quarter with out mirror like background

Looks like a mishandled proof. Must be a buisness strike with a proof reverse to be a Type B reverse.

Agree with Harvey
That is a proof coin and all the proofs were a type B Rev.
