I went through the Lincoln wheat's that I have from a lot I purchased and the ones that I found from roll searching again and I found the following. Would like some help identifying what kind of error it is or mint damage or post mint damage. Thanks

I am not an expert on errors but they all appear to be struck through, maybe the 37-s is lamination seperation. We'll see what the experts have to say,I'm just making a guess.Nice finds!

The 1954-S is a die break. It was at one time called the San Jose minted coin. (Which isn't true) One of those cute-sie names for an over used die.

I posted 3 different coins. the First one is the 1954-S, the second one is the second one is 1937-s, and the third is the 1954-D. Each coin has three picturs, both the obverse and reverse plus a close up of the area, all of them except for the first, I didnt think the reverse was needed, as the type of error that was showing.

Thanks for posting those cool coins! I agree they are all legitimate errors. Die break, reverse lamination and obverse lamination.

I have seen the "San Jose" die break coin before, but have never heard it called that.

Again, another great piece of info from Coop!
